| | Our toolsSuperpower ChatGPT/WFH.team/Snipman | Today's briefing What matters todayToday, OpenAI opens its math catalogue, Google details Ebola mapping, and Anthropic widens Claude access for vetted security work. Healthcare studies, new builder tools and workplace data sharpen the distinction between access, reported benefits and verified results. | Inside today's briefing | | 01 | OpenAI’s 722 math manuscripts offer papers and many computer-checkable proofs, but some results lack formal verification. | | 02 | Google says WHO teams mapped 48 Ebola-exposed settlements in minutes, helping guide mobile labs and border surveillance. | | 03 | Anthropic gives vetted security teams three Claude access tiers, with permissions and monitoring tied to the work they do. | | 04 | Google’s new open-weight model enables offline search across photos, audio and video, with reference apps on Android and iOS. |
| | Lead story / research OpenAI publishes 722 AI-written math papers with uneven verificationOpenAI has published a GitHub collection of 722 mathematics manuscripts, grouped into 372 families, from work produced largely by its unreleased internal mathematics model. Researchers can inspect the papers and supporting artifacts, but this is a publication release—not access to the model or a guarantee that every result is correct. Many manuscripts include formalizations in Lean, a programming language that lets computers check mathematical proofs. Others do not yet have them, and OpenAI warns that some unformalized results could have issues. The company says it will add formalizations as they become available and publish corrections as new versions while keeping earlier releases accessible. OpenAI says it expanded its evaluations into open research problems after performance on existing mathematics evaluations saturated. The model received approximately 4,000 problems during the evaluation. The paper count is not a count of distinct problems solved: a family can include a principal result, companion arguments, consequences or alternative proofs. The repository includes PDFs, source files, build instructions and verification configurations for available formal proofs. OpenAI also released abridged reasoning summaries for just 10 selected results, and plans workshops and improvements to citations and presentation. It says it is working toward responsibly releasing the model itself; for now, researchers have artifacts to examine, not a model to run. Read full story ↗ |

How Jennifer Aniston’s LolaVie brand grew sales 40% with CTV ads
For its first CTV campaign, Jennifer Aniston’s DTC haircare brand LolaVie had a few non-negotiables. The campaign had to be simple. It had to demonstrate measurable impact. And it had to be full-funnel.
LolaVie used Roku Ads Manager to test and optimize creatives — reaching millions of potential customers at all stages of their purchase journeys. Roku Ads Manager helped the brand convey LolaVie’s playful voice while helping drive omnichannel sales across both ecommerce and retail touchpoints.
The campaign included an Action Ad overlay that let viewers shop directly from their TVs by clicking OK on their Roku remote. This guided them to the website to buy LolaVie products.
Discover how Roku Ads Manager helped LolaVie drive big sales and customer growth with self-serve TV ads.
The DTC beauty category is crowded. To break through, Jennifer Aniston’s brand LolaVie, worked with Roku Ads Manager to easily set up, test, and optimize CTV ad creatives. The campaign helped drive a big lift in sales and customer growth, helping LolaVie break through in the crowded beauty category.
 | research Google says its AI mapped 48 Ebola-exposed communities in minutesWHO teams in the DRC used Google’s conversational mapping prototype to identify 48 settlements and more than 45,500 people considered at risk of Ebola. Google says the work took minutes rather than the usual weeks, helping guide mobile-lab deployment and border surveillance. Separate models estimate spread into uninfected zones. The emergency tools are research prototypes, distinct from Google’s commercially available population dataset. Continue reading ↗ |

| | launch Anthropic adds three Claude access tiers for vetted security teamsAnthropic has consolidated its security programs into three Claude access tiers, covering defensive work, authorized penetration testing and limited testing of safety-critical systems. In a 50-trial-per-tier evaluation, Red Team Access completed 34 trials with no trials blocked, while Defense Access blocked 46. These are benchmark results, not measures of real-world misuse. Verification, monitoring and safeguards against ransomware and disruptive physical-system testing remain. Continue reading ↗ |
| | research NYU finds AI may help heart-transplant patients avoid unnecessary biopsiesNYU Langone researchers combined EKG patterns with two blood-test biomarkers to assess heart-transplant rejection. In a 38-person test group, the model correctly identified 94% of patients without rejection; that is not an overall accuracy score. Researchers projected it could spare 19 patients flagged by a blood-test model from biopsies, but no procedures were reported as actually avoided. Testing in more patients across multiple transplant centers is next. Continue reading ↗ |
